Portugal played against a very weak side in the quarter final and than had two more days to rests! I think that at the semi finals Portugal made a great game against Spain (especially Joao Moutinho) but I also think that Spain deserved to pass to the final match.
And I also think that Ronaldo was very very arrogant when he said that Real Madrid was better than FC Barcelona last season only to make a campaign for his own!

Messi scored more goals, gave more assists than C. Ronaldo. CR played last season better than previous times, but Messi plays better and better, he doesnt fall down or stay the same.
What I meant was that what he did during the pks was unprofessional, not unprofessional in general. Such acts can cost bigtime. I believe that Ronaldo will win the FIFA Award this year, he had a better season in his club than messi and iniesta. It feels like the FIFA Award this year will be decided to whoever tops EL CLASSICO on Sunday.
I definitely agree that Iniesta deserved UEFA’s best player award and I agree that Euro is more important in this case, I just simply believe that Ronaldo deserves the FIFA. You did imply he was unprofessional in your previous comment btw.
I never said that he hasn’t matured and that he isn’t a professional. Obviously, he has matured, but doing childish moves won’t help at all.. And yes, look it up, Euro is more important than both, that is another big reason why he didn’t win the best player in Europe.
Ronaldo has definitely matured, he is professional, I’m not sure where you got that he isn’t. Sure, he may have wanted the glory, but keep in mind, Portugal still probably wouldn’t have gone through, I mean, sending a defender to do a penalty kick isn’t the smartest move. The blame isn’t all on him, its also on those who missed and the coaches. Euro is not more important than CL and La Liga.
You don’t win by being “nice”, i didn’t even say that.. In fact you don’t have to be nice, but you do need to be professional and deal with the problems one they’re in front of you. Fair enough, but awards aren’t given to people who have “nice” personalities. Spain did not dominate that match, Portugal dominated the first 90 minutes, Spain dominated extra time. Portugal played a pretty good game considering Spain’s world class players and their tiki-taka.
