Riyad Mahrez is not for sale
The Algerian winger of Leicester City, Riyad Mahrez has kicked off the new season of the Premier League in a superb form as he has scored 4 goals in 3 matches for his club and he has attracted the interest of Barcelona as the Spanish outfit want to sign him but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen as Claudio Ranieri stated that Riyad Mahrez is not for sale.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the Algerian and this is proof of just how much attention Riyad Mahrez has been attracting thanks to his impressive performers in these early stages of the season.
Leicester City’s Claudio Ranieri shut down all the rumors involving Riyad Mahrez with a possible move to another club as the Italian manager told the media: “We don’t sell him so there is no price. We won’t sell him so it’s much better if other clubs don’t ask. I look at Riyad when we don’t have the ball; I’m trying to help him become a complete player and that is my job. I want to improve him in the offensive line. He is improving every day, it’s important for him because he can get better. He’s young and only 24’’
Luis Enrique was hoping to wait until January of 2016 and launch an offer for Riyad Mahrez but even if the Spanish club does launch a tempting bid, Ranieri said that there simply is no price for Mahrez as the Italian manager does not have any desire to sell him. Barcelona’s transfer ban ends in January of the upcoming year but even when the ban reaches it’s end, Mahrez still appears to be out of the reach of Barcelona and for any other club that might be interested in signing him.
